If funding is agreed, you will be confirmed on Suffolk CPD. UEA will then require you to apply via their on-line application system. When registering please make sure that you select the 'Professional Development Application' on the far right.
To ensure everyone has a chance to apply, you will usually only be informed whether your application is successful after the WFD closing date.
PLEASE NOTE: Workforce Development will only fund one module at a time.
|Training Objectives||This module will enhance practitioners' and managers' knowledge of theory and research on child placement practice with children and families. It will be relevant for all areas of work within child placement and in particular, care planning, fostering, adoption and residential care.
The course will have 3 elements. Two taught days, mentor-led case discussion groups based in agencies and the submission of an assignment. A workbook of distance learning material will be provided, together with a recommended text book - please see attached flyer for details.
