NEW - Fully funded Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Higher Education qualification
All staff working directly with children, young people and their families can now apply for the above qualification via an apprenticeship route. The programme will take about 18 months to complete and there are 3 cohorts per year so you can join at a time which works for you.
During the programme you will gain a Certificate of Higher Education from De Montfort University and your apprenticeship standard in working with children and young people. You will also gain a level 2 functional skills in maths and English (if you do not already an equivalent qualification). The programme is delivered virtually with some workplace visits by the training provider, making it a really accessible way of studying for lots of people.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to deepen their skills, knowledge and behaviours when working with children and young people, and for those who want to gain a higher level academic qualification. The programme is a great course for those wanting to go on to study at a degree level, including the Social Work apprenticeship programme.
You will need your line manager’s agreement as part of the application process.Autumn 2021 cohort
